1987 ford F 250 5.8 liter manual trans. Need a link or need to know what fluid for differentials, transfer case and manual trans. Assume gear oil for most.

Hello and thank you for your question,

See the transmission specs in the first link,

  • All 4-speed transmissions-SAE 85W/90 gear oil

  • All 5-speed transmissions-MERCON® (Dexron®II) ATF

    And the transfer case in the link below,

    Transfer Case Fluid Type also calls for -MERCON® (Dexron®II) ATF

    The rear Differential calls for 90w gear oil .

One other thing, if you have a limited slip rear diff be sure to add some friction modifier as well .
