are you hearing a clicking noise from the heater case at the same time?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The heater case is where the noise is coming from. I'm sure it is one of the blending doors.
Expert:  Ray M. replied 1 year ago.

The noise is caused by a defective blend door actuator, they will strip the small gears inside and when they run to one end they try to move back and the noise you hear is the gears slipping, unfortunately this means removing the entire dash to remove the heater case to replace the defective blend door actuator.
