what would cause the code (P2104 - throttle control forced idle) , (P1111 - throttle control system stuck open) to set on a 2006 ford 500.

Hello, this is caused by a faulty electronic throttle body. You will need to replace the throttle body in order to correct this concern. Some people claim cleaning the throttle body will work but if it does it is only a band aid. I would recommend replacing due to your safety.
