I had to make some repairs on the wiring on my 02 Taurus.

Customer Question

I had to make some repairs on the wiring on my 02 Taurus. Before beginning the work, I disconnected the positive to insure I did not short a circuit wile doing the work. When I was done, I discovered that I had no power . Put meter to battery and found a solid 12.5 volts, but nothing was working. rechecked work and found nothing wrong. Any ideas?

I would recheck the battery cables, clean with battery cleaner and wire brush. If still nothing check the large red wire going to battery junction box and fuses under the hood. See if there is 12 volts here.
