2007 Ford Explore keeps stalling out. Had sugar in gas tank

Customer Question

2007 Ford Explore keeps stalling out. Had sugar in gas tank about 2 years ago, just replace fuel pump, still stalls, acts like not getting gas

Who would put sugar in your gas tank? How would you even know there was sugar in it?

Do you have any idea what sugar in a gas tank does? It ruins the engine. That sugar acts like sandpaper and ruins all the bearings, usually ending up lowering the oil pressure until the entire engine just fails.
