Customer Question

Have a 2001 Ford F-350 Super duty 7.3 diesel. Had just re-sealed the HPOP pump and re-installed it. Now it will not start. Doesn't show any oil pressure on gauge. Read numerous blogs on this and appears to be a common problem but, no real answer to resolve the situation. Please advise.
Thank You.

Hello and thanks for choosing just answer. If you removed the high pressure oil pump it will take a long time of cranking to build oil pressure back up. It can take up to 5 minutes of crAnking on and off to build up this pressure.bdo you have a scan tool that can monitor icp while cranking?
