I have a 2000 F250 7.3l automatic. Vehicle starts and runs.

Customer Question

I have a 2000 F250 7.3l automatic. Vehicle starts and runs. When driving I get a severe vibration between 1000 and 1500 rpm. It feels under powered and the condition gets worse as the engine gets hotter. Idle is fine when cold but gets rough once hot. There is no check engine light, ever, and scanner will not connect to PCM. Also when the tray shifts up under acceleration, I hear a very loud blow off sound from the turbo. Any ideas?

Is the oil in good shape and not very old? It almost sounds like he injector harnesses are loose under the valve covers. Do you have a way to perform a cylinder contribution test invade one or more injectors are failing?
