Hello and thanks for using JustAnswer.I will try my best to help you with your question.
Check fuses 30,46 and 47 in the dash fuse box. See if they have power with the headlights on and the high beams on.

They did. We were broke down so I googled some things. Ended up getting them to work by pulling blinker arm back and then pushing forward. I am supposing this bypasses the setting for the flash to pass setting? Anyways they are working now. What would cause that to happen?

If you have the turn signal arm pushed forward, you have the high beams on.

They work on high and low beam now. Pulled arm back then pushed forward. They came on and they dim and brighten.

Ok. Them the problem is in the turn signal switch. The headlight circuit goes through the switch. There must have been poor contact in the switch and moving it caused the connection to be corrected.

From what I googled I understand there is a multi function switch in the steering column and it is set for a flash to pass setting and what it said to do over rides it...Idk but it worked. Thanks but I needed help asap and had to do research and fast to get us back on the road.

The turn signal/wiper switch is the multifunction switch.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Gotcha...well will replace that asap. Thanks a lot
