Both rear turn signals work fine..they just blink too fast
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 1 year ago.
welcome to just answers , my name is ***** ***** me see if i can help you with this problem. if you only have rear signal operation and not front s is because there seem to be a problem with the "SMART JUNCTION BOX" this is a module that controls the signal function individualy for front and rear and at this point the front circuit is not working , this can be do to a bad SJB or bad ground on the front ligthing
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Thank you. ..and where is the SJB located?
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 1 year ago.
first thing we need to try is reseting the smart box by disconecting the negative side of the battery and reconecting it after a minute or two, see if it reset and let me know.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok.. ill try it right now
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok just did it.. and all still the same
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 1 year ago.
ok then you have a problem with the SJB( SMART JUNCTION BOX)
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Is it the one by the kick panel on the passenger side.?
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 1 year ago.
would you like a picture of its location?
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 1 year ago.
yes it is the one on the right side kick panel.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
So it will just need to be replaced?
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 1 year ago.
yes the module that controls the signals is internal to the fuse box and so it will have to be replace as a unit.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok thank you very much.. hopefully this resolves the issue
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Do you have an idea like how much would it be to replace?
Expert:  Ricardo Hohl replied 1 year ago.
the labor to replace the smart junction box should be no more then 2 hours labor maximun, pluss the part .
