You are having an issue with the PATS security key system. It cannot be reset by disconnecting the batter. It so, thieves would be stealing a lot more vehicles.You will need to have the instrument cluster and the PCM (Engine Computer) scanned for trouble codes. Since it does it to both keys, doubt the keys are the problem. It could be wiring, a module or the PATS transceiver ring around the ignition key cylinder on the steering column. The trouble codes will now down for us what is causing the problem.
