i replaced struts on 2008 escape. on the test drive, car handled well but when the strut returns to normal position, it makes a hard stop, like there should be a busing or something softening the rebound of the spring

i have ran into same concern on taurus and escape, only way i got it to go away is to replace with quick struts on every vehicle
