Ford Edge: Ford Edge 2008The brake lights sometimes work

Customer Question

Ford Edge 2008
The brake lights sometimes work normally when first starting out in the morning drive to work, but after a while, they don't work any more.
Later on during the day, if driving out at lunch or leaving work, they again work at the beginning, but after a while, they don't again.
I have replaced the brake light switch a couple of times already, but it does not help with the situation.
Any additional ideas would be greatly appreciated,
CJ
