I'm trying to use power from the truck for camping and other uses of 110 ac and 12 vdc by plugging into one of the plugs in the bed of the pickup.

No, there are some sort of plug in in the bed of the truck also there are auxiliary switches on the dash. Are there hookups for them to use as assessories for external power, like using the truck as a generator.
