2007 ford focus: this is a hard proble to describe. i push

this is a hard proble to describe. i push the gas peddle down and it seems not to want to go down to excellerate. i then push it a second time harder and it finually excellerates this is very scary especially when it happened in traffic it was like the peddle was stuch in the up position should i get it put on compouter

You may want to have the throttle cleaned out. What is happening is the throttle plate is sticking in the throttle body and it take extra effort to make the throttle plate move. There usually is a build up of varnish and dirt in the throttle body.
