I purchase a 2013 Ford Explorer without a trailer hitch can I now add a hitch and will my chassis support adding this hitch?

Hello I will help you with your question,

Your chassis can support a hitch but you will need to go to a trailer store to have the hitch and wiring installed. I am not sure what your dealers issue is but I would think they are worried it will affect your warranty. You can ask them.

The trailer stores will install the correct hitch for your vehicle.

Let me know how I can help you with this

Thank you
