HI,Is it 2 or 4wd? If 4wd, have you tested the 4wd to ensure it engages?does previous owner have all maintenance records to show good maintenance upkeep?

4 wd, have not driven, mechanic will put new transmission this week
Hi,Ok, engine wise, the Eddie Bauer edition has a very strong engine with very little problems and at 70,000 miles is barely broken in.The 2 big problems are the transmission and transfer case. Once the transmission is installed, definitely test the 4wd out before purchasing. If you hear any grinding, clunking or other noises when engaged, or when you turn, you feel it catching, then it will also need a new transfer case.If owner wants a commitment before transmission is installed and you can properly test drive, then stay away from this purchase. Unless the owner never went 4-wheeling, most 4wds tend to be abused offroad and can be big invitations to problems down the roadBut again, the engine is strong and no real issues to be concerned with if properly maintained.as the transmission is being replaced, the only concern is the transfer case, and you 100% definitely need to properly test drive and engage the 4wd to know whether worth the purchase or not.Personally, if 4wd works and no noises when engaged, and no signs such as caked mud in the wheel wells, then I would purchase it for the $2000Please note, your Deposit doesn't constitute a payment. Please be sure to rate OK SERVICE, GOOD SERVICE OR EXCELLENT SERVICE to complete transaction or ask for more help by clicking REPLY TO EXPERT. Positive feedback is always appreciated. Bonuses are welcome. Please note that if you have a subscription service you still need to to rate OK SERVICE, GOOD SERVICE OR EXCELLENT SERVICE , however you are not charged again. Thank you. Please note the 1 to 2 faces(POOR AND BAD SERVICE) are a negative rating. Before choosing one of these, please reply first so that I can further help you
