Customer Question

Where is the orifice on a 2002 Ford Escape XLT V6, or some other source of blockage. The compressor cycles on and off every 20 secs. but does not blow cold air. I have a set of A/C gauges.

The orfice is located in the condenser to evaporator line at the orifice tube.

How do you separate that tube from that O shaped ring?

You will need the AC release tool which you can purchase at any part store for about $8.00. See the attached video for how to do it.
