I have a problem with my ford mustang 2006 V6. My check engine light comes up lately, when i turn off the engine the light turns off. Sometimes another one turns instead (emission system) which stayed until ive been to the mechanic. The mechanic diagnosed the problem as code p2135. It does not tell me much. Back to the tool light "check engine", when it turns on, im usually driving in the city, and the car just looses power and the whole engine moves in all directions. I have a manual transmission. it also drove around 109 000 miles

Hello and Welcome to Justanswer, My name is XXXXX XXXXX X am here to try and assist your with your question. In most cases the code P2135 is caused by eaither a failing throttle body or in some cases just a dirty and sludged up throttle body which at 109,000 miles is very Ikey. I would start with disconnecting the negative battery cable and take some carb cleaner and a soft brush and try cleaning the throttle body bore and plate, once done reconnect the cable and retest. If the code returns, then the throttle body has likely failed and will need replacement. Please note, your Deposit doesn't constitute a payment.
