kind of a dumb question, but i have a 2011 Expedition EL with 2nd row heated captains chairs. I want to remove one. Is it as simple as disconnecting the wiring coupler and removing the bolts? Do the bolts go all the way through? Would I need to replace the bolts so water would not enter the inside? Anything else I should know?

Hello and Welcome to Justanswer, My name is XXXXX XXXXX X am here to try and assist your with your question. Not a dumb question at all, the only dumb question is the ones that don't get asked. The seat is fairly easy to remove, take the 2 bolts out and release retainer pins and it comes right out. Yes it would be a good idea to reinstall the bolts to avoid any water leaks.
