2000 f150: sliding..replace the hold window assemble

Resolved Question:

i have a ford 2000 f150 the read window is leakine,the rubber gasket is missing between the sliding glass. i put a rubber gasket made from door insulation this stop some of the leak but it is still leaking at other areas. is there a sealing materal i can use to seal the leak or do i need to replace the hold window assemble.

You will need the window assembly.I would recommend calling a glass company to come out and replace.They are cheaper than a dealer and most dealers will just sublet to them anyways and than mark up there bill and charge you more than if you call them yourself.

i do not understand what is a window assemble, is it new window or is it using the old window and some one puts new molding around the window frame.

It will be a new bolt in window.With new seals. It should be a complete assembly
