greetings,

did you check for trouble codes? has the trans been serviced?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.
the code is P1744
Expert:  Ironmike replied 4 years ago.

P1744 is a TCC(torque converter clutch) slippage detected

you can first check the connector to the trans range sensor(on the trans where the shift cable goes)

let me know what the fluid looks like

Expert:  Ironmike replied 4 years ago.

you may have a TCC solenoid sticking, failing. It cold be an issue with the valve body and finally it could be the torque converter failing.

depending on what the fluid looks like and how many miles I might try a trans flush.

The pan would need to be removed to check the valve body and the TCC solenoid is in the valve body.
