Pavlin Koev :

there is no ground wire on starter solenoid

Pavlin Koev :

you connect all those wires to battery positive side of the solenoid, the side connected to Battery +

Pavlin Koev :

black cable on the other terminal should stay alone.

Pavlin Koev :

this is the starter power wire

Pavlin Koev :

it only gets power when key to start position.

Pavlin Koev :

small Red light blue wire goes on the sigle smal pin of the relay

Pavlin Koev :

please reply to me when you can

Customer:

this doesn't work. Just hear a small noise

Pavlin Koev :

if you hear a click this is indicating that relay was activated.

Pavlin Koev :

Now, you have Either Low battery, loose connection, or bad starter motor

Customer:

No click fuel pump comes on when I turn the key to the start position. Makes a groan noise. Engine doesn't turn over.

Pavlin Koev :

something is not connected properly, all wires must go on the battery side, starter relay battery + eccept black starter cable

Pavlin Koev :

which is connected to the other post of the relay

Pavlin Koev :

if fuel pump comes on when you crank, you have one or more of the cables on the wrong side

Customer:

My fuel pump activates when the key is turned to on-- this is normal. However the starting problem began about 2 weeks ago. Felt like a low battery, but it is fully charged. I changed the starter relay as a clicking noise was heard. Now it groans when key is turned.

Pavlin Koev :

You have bad starter

Pavlin Koev :

it takes huge current but not able to turn, that is why you hear groaning noise.

Customer:

Thank you very much
