then the computer is not reconizing the key, do you have a spare key to try in this?

no, the truck wont do anything at all.

then you have lost the programming in the computer, you cant reset this yourself, it requires a special scanner to do this, we use mobile locksmiths, they come to the car and reprogram it, they are cheaper then the dealer, and you save a tow bill to the dealer,Tim

What kind of special scanner and where can i get one

these scanners run about 3 thousand dollars, it would be cheaper to call a locksmith and have them do it, our local locksmith charges 70 dollars to come out and reprogram these,Tim

I dont, i live in colorado, just look in the yellow pages under locksmiths, you should have several of them,Tim
