REMOVAL

Remove the rear door trim panel.

 

 

 

Remove the rear door radio speaker.
1Remove the screws.
2Disconnect the electrical connector.
3Remove the rear door radio speaker.

 

 

 


Remove the watershield.

 

 

 

Disconnect the upper rear door latch cable from the rear door latch remote control.
1Lift the clip.
2Pull to release the cable from its seated position.

 

 

 


Remove the upper rear door latch.
1Remove the screws.
2Pull the upper rear door latch and the cable up through the door latch opening.

INSTALLATION

 

 

 

 

 

 


To install, reverse the removal procedure.
If necessary, use Multi-Purpose Grease Spray F5AZ-19G209-AA or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESR-M1C159-A to lubricate the latches.

TRIM PANEL - REAR DOOR

Removal and Installation

 

 

 


Remove the rear door window latch screws.

 

 

 

Remove the rear door window gamish panel.

 

 

 

CAUTION: Do not pull directly outward on the rear door trim panel, as damage may occur.
Remove the rear door trim panel.

1Remove the screws.
2Remove the nut.
3Remove the pin-type retainer.

Lift and remove the rear door trim panel.
