F-150: 2003 pick up driver rear door wont open

My F-150, 2003 pick up driver rear door won't open. Anyone know how to fix?

I will do my best to answer your question fast and accurate using the info you have provided. Thanks for visiting Just Answer.


You do need to get those panels off, Ford directions shown below.


Now you need to work each door latch upper and lower from the latch remote to try and get each latch to open to determine if there is broken cable or faulty remote, shown below


In the even one of the cables will not free up the latch, then you must drill a 1/2 hole near the latch so you can get needle nose pliers in so you can work the latch arm with the pliers. Once open you can remove the faulty latch to repair the latch or cable.
