Hello and welcome to JA, is the light flashing rapidly or staying on solid?

JACUSTOMER-8f85bak1- :

if i turn key back and forth alot or leave key on for awhile it starts low voltage on gage wen doesnt start truck was in flood a couple months ago just started doing this

davehop :

the most likely cause for a rapidly flashing light is that the key is not being recognized...do you have a spare key that you can try?

JACUSTOMER-8f85bak1- :

its a 2000 not 98

JACUSTOMER-8f85bak1- :

no

JACUSTOMER-8f85bak1- :

does it have anything to do with key remote lock

davehop :

no, when the PCM does not recognize the key, it will flash the theft light rapidly, you need to get a new key and have it programmed to the car..
