Hello and thanks for using Just Answer.I will try my best to help you with your question.

Do you have manual or electronic digital AC controls?

It makes a difference in the actuators.

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
The controls are digital
Expert:  A. Penland replied 5 years ago.

Ok, you have what we call EATC (Electronic Air Temperature Control).

This means you should also have dual temperature controls. One for the driver temp and one for the passenger side temp.

You actually have 2 blend door motors. What made your decide to replace the blend door motor?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
The driver side temp control does not heat, it stays in the a/c mode while the passenger side works normally.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
The problem was actually diagnosed by a Ford Service center.

Ok.

The drivers side blend door motor is a hard one to get to. You will have to remove the dash to get to it. Below are directions on removing the dash and then replacing the left side blend door motor.
