2001 ford focus: the right rear power window cable..metal..door panel

Resolved Question:

I have a 2001 ford focus and the right rear power window cable has broke. How do you get the glass off the white plastic guide or metal guide channel. There are some plastic white parts in the bottom of the door panel. I think the plastic guide is busted.

My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will try to assist you with the window.

Is this the piece you are looking at here?

If so those pins, 1 and 2, need to be pushed out carefully to release it.

Let me know.

then that would release the window. Also if so do you recicieve a new white plasticguide when you order a new power window cable abd motor set.

I think the regulator assembly comes with it.
Check aftermarket suppliers for this part. NAPA, Autozone etc.
A company called Dorman makes many of these items.
They are of good quality and the price is much more reasonable.
