I have a 2005 Ford F150 Lariat 5.4 Liter SuperCrew. VIN is 1FTPW14545KD96048. Saturday night the lights on the EATC module started flashing continuously and none of the air handling functions work. I can hear the compressor kick on when you ask for air but there is no blower. The codes I am getting are 22-66-12-63 and 22-68-13-42. I have a new EATC module ordered and it should be here tomorrow. In this previous case:I have a 2007 F150 with EATC controls. It has been moving to - JustAnswer http://www.justanswer.com/ford/2o4vu-2007-f150-eatc-controls-moving.html#ixzz1WSDLouwZThe person answering gives a diagram of some circuits to probe. Are they indicating to probe the wiring loom or the connector on the back of the EATC module? My module has two (2) connectors on it. Also, if the blend door actuators need to be replaced, does the entire dash have to be removed or can one access them via the hole created when the panel containing the radio, EATC module, etc. and the tray above them are removed? Please advise if you need any more detail.

Hello and Welcome to Justanswer,My name is XXXXX XXXXX X am here to try and assist your with your question.Take look ayt the list of codes and tell me which ones you are getting?
Per my original eMail I am getting 22-66-12-63 and 22-68-13-42 in that sequence.
The problem you are having is most likel due to the 1342 code which sets when you have a failed EATC controller and this can set the other codes. It should be delt with first..
Thanks, Ron. I have one ordered and supposed to be at the dealer in Glenwood Springs, CO, tomorrow. Regarding the blend doors and the actuators, does it require remove the ENTIRE dash to get at those doors and actuators or can they be accessed from underneath or via the hole in the center created when you remove the radio, etc., and the plastic tray above? Thank You.
The blend door acuator comes out by removing the radio and the plenum chamber would have to come out for a blend door but its not likely the door is bad.DOWNLOAD ACUATOR HERE
Thank You, Ron. You have been very helpful. I'll get the EATC module installed when it comes in tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed. The wiring in this particular truck has been an issue since the day I purchased it new. A lot of wiring splices that were laid in the door chanels and never sealed. Moisture gets in there from car wash, rain, etc., and corrodes them. Hopefully this isn't another case of that.
Usually not when you get the code 1342. Your very welcome and thank you very much as well.
