Hello, My name is Randall. I will do my best to assist you with your question
Hello, I am Randall. Engine size?
I do not know. Where do I find the size info.?
under hood, white label, will have some other info as well as engine size noted as 5.4? 4.6? 4.2?
send me the VIN #. I can use that, just thought you would see label faster
hello, do you have the VIn# ?
have you started the job yet? removed anything yet?
Just the cover inside.
Ok, you will be working from inside and out side. You also need to remove the air cleaner assy and hose to engine. Then .. you have to follow each plug wire as shown below. Do one at a time. grab wire near plug, give it a twist then pull to remove from plug. Change plug. Go to next plug etc. 1 at a time. the problem is its very tight area. You will need several 3/8th extensions, various lengths. You will get a few form inside and the front ones from under hood. Kind of a bear on a van to change the plugs
Will raising the off the wheels be of any help?
No, all work near top of valve covers not from under side at all. reaching under in tight area. I hate them but it can be done
I'm 71 yr's old. I have more time than money, should I try it?
I am sorry but to be honest? its 50/50./ I cringe when they come in for tune ups. I would say start at rear of engine from inside. try a couple wires etc. If goes ok? then keep moving on. If you find just too tight an area? best to seek help
Thank you for your advice. Have a great day.
