The wheel hub nut is torqued in the following manner:

 

Tighten the wheel hub retaining nut while rotating the brake drum in the opposite direction.

  • Tighten to 235 Nm (174 ft. lbs.) .

NOTE: Ford recommends that the nut be replaced with a NEW one after every removal.
