I cannot verify if the brake lights are working at this time. We left the car at a mall and will check fuses on the schematic enclosed in the morning. IF after replacing the fuse(s) and the lever is still stuck, is the brake interlock relay located in the fuse/relay panel? or, is it located independently?

its behind the left side of dash near the steering column

you may need to remove the trim cover under the driver side to locate it
