Bamaman39 :

Thank you for using just answer. My name is XXXXX XXXXX i will assist you today

Bamaman39 :

The escape is a great vehicle. There really isnt much problems that we see with them

Bamaman39 :

There are sometimes cruise control issues with a broken cable. Some window seals. Other than that no real issues with the motor and transmission

Customer:

their suspension holds up well?

Bamaman39 :

Im not telling you that you will not have any problems with the car but from experience its rare

Bamaman39 :

Yes no issues with the suspension. If you live up north then you know to check for rust

Customer:

why were the 2009 escape ratings poor compared to the other years?

Bamaman39 :

Well ratings done by independent companies all have differnet opinions. I work on these vehicles and dont see alot in the shop. Other than normal maintance and some normal wear and tear compontents

Customer:

is there a timing belt to replace on escapes after 60k miles that is expensive? or similar expensive normal maintenance?

Bamaman39 :

There is no timing belt. It has a timing chain so no, you dont have to replace

Customer:
