Dieseljunky2 :

Hello, when you turn the signal on that does not work, does the front signal work?

JACUSTOMER-lbf6mkem- :

yes

Dieseljunky2 :

You need to replace the turn signal switch. The contact that closes to allow the turn signal to turn off and turn on the brake light is bad. Replacing the turn signal switch will repair the brake lamp operation. Thanks

JACUSTOMER-lbf6mkem- :

my problem is brake light not the turn signal brake work on one side

Dieseljunky2 :

Yes, the brake lights go through the turn signal switch contacts. That is how the bulb can blink even when you are pressing the brakes.

JACUSTOMER-lbf6mkem- :

how hard is that to change and the cost

Dieseljunky2 :

You will need to remove the tilt handle. You will have to use a small cresent wrench or vise grips to unscrew the handle.

The switch is $170 from the dealer and usually around $100 from the auto parts stores. Thanks
