JACUSTOMER-1h0el1ih- :

Steve :

go to a parts store and buy carb cleaner remove the intake snorkel and get a tooth brush, Spray the carb cleaner on the throttle body use the toothbrush to clean the sludge out of the throttle body

Steve :

after doing that take it to the dealer to get the pcm reprogramed

Steve :

Are you under 36k miles

JACUSTOMER-1h0el1ih- :

car won't run

JACUSTOMER-1h0el1ih- :

no

Steve :

start with cleaning the throttle body

Steve :

does it crank and start

JACUSTOMER-1h0el1ih- :

how did it get sludge yes it cranks and starts won't idle above 1000 rpm

Steve :

just happens over time and when you replace the battery the computer forgets the adjusted settings it was at to make it run. The computer componsates for the sludge build up when you replace the battery it erasing the computer memory.

JACUSTOMER-1h0el1ih- :

so i have to get a tow because the battery died doesn;t right to me'

Steve :

clean the throttle body yourself and it will run better
