2001 Ford Taurus: shows a p100 odb code indicating some..60 miles

This answer was rated:

I have a 2001 Ford Taurus that show's a P1000 odb code indicating some of the odb codes are not ready.I was told to drive the vehicle for about 60 miles and than try a retest.Did the drive and still not able to get all odb codes to respond.
Is there any other way to get past this issue?

Thanks for visiting Just answer

Tim West :

More than likely you just didn't drive it far enough.

Tim West :

60 miles is usually the minimum.

Tim West :

Be sure to drive the vehicle in all conditions and do not turn the engine off.

Tim West :

I would recommend a longer test drive for now and recheck it.

Tim West :

The p1000 will clear, you just got to drive it.
