Customer Question

My 1997 ranger 2.3l broke timing belt, what cam marks do I use for timing? There is a diamond and a triangle on cam shaft belt guide, no timing marks on cam gear. Whether I use triangle or diamond for timing, I am half a tooth off of timing mark on inner cover with crank at tdc & on timing mark, auxilary shaft timing is correct. thanks
