I had talked to ford about it and they said that I had to replace the entire throttle body because it an automatic instead of a manual. Is that true? Or, can I just replace the sensor.

Ooops. I'm sorry. That is correct. Only Manual Transmission has a seperate TPS. Totally my fault (i'm moving ahead of myself today!) Automatic transmission the TPS is only replaced as a throttle body assembly.
