remove access panel, motor seems to be riveted to mounting bracket.

Hello and Thank you for choosing Just Answer. My name is XXXX XXX I will be helping you with your question today. Yes, the motor is part of the bracket and is not serviced seperately. from the bracket. You do need to remove the seat first from the vehicle and then remove the motor.

Customer :

How do you remove the seat?

CTFordTech :
  1. All seats
  2. Remove the 2 pin-type retainers.
  3. Remove the 2 bolts and the cargo storage system.
  4. Power fold seats
  5. Separate any power fold seat wire harness pin-type retainers and disconnect the power fold seat motor electrical connectors.
  6. All seats
  7. Remove the 2 LH and 2 RH floor mounting bracket bolts.
  8. Remove the floor mounting bracket center front and rear nuts.
  9. Remove the floor mounting bracket front bolt and child safety seat tether anchor.
  10. Remove the floor mounting bracket LH and RH nuts.

  1. Remove the third row seat
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • When installing any seat-to-floor bolts or studs, apply threadlock
