How Do I add Freon to a 1995 Explorer?

The freon is added via the Low Side Service Port. It is the smaller of the 2 ports and it is located in the evaporator to compressor suction line (this line comes from the evaporator located at the passenger's side firewall). If you are using a DIY freon recharge can, put the adapter on this port, and follow the directions on the can.
