Your ranger does not have a kingpin it has ball joints instead. Is your truck 2WD or 4WD? If you'd like i can get you a rough estimate for replacing the ball joints. There are two ball joints ( one upper and one lower) at each front wheel, so a total of 4 ball joints. The suspension is set up different on a 4WD or a 2WD. I would charge $686.75 to replace all four balljoints on a 4WD truck, or $610.86 on a 2WD truck. I would charge exactly half of those prices if you only wanted the repairs done on one wheel of the vehicle instead of both. Depending on parts pricing and shop labor time where you live the price could vary by 150-200 dollars from one independant shop to another.
