Customer:

what is c pillar.

Customer:

My engine light came on.

Ron :

The c pillar is right behind the seat as shown in the picture.

Customer:

My engine light came on. Its saying that it could be by circuit borad, the FPDM, or the fuel pump itself that is faulty. The car starts and I have no problems with it right now.

Ron :

Th check engine light comes on when the PCM sees a system fault, when this happens, the PCM will set and store a fault code. Your next step to knwo what has failed is to have the code and orcodes retrived. You can have a system scan done at no charge at most part stores.

Customer:

If it is the fpdm what will the car do?

Customer:

the code that failed is P1237.

Ron :

Can you do some testing?

Customer:

The car starts and runs with no problem. The car has been sitting there for a year without being used.

Ron :

If its starting and running with no problems I would try clearing the code and see if it come bach .
