Hello, what year is the alternator and what make are you wiring it to?

new, remanufactured alternator 1989 ford mustang 5.0L lx

I have enclosed the Charging system diagram for the 1989 Mustang which will show you the correct wiring.

I have taken fuel inj. off and switch to carb.do you have one with just 3 wires from reg. and 3 from alternator to batt .grnd. solenoid etc.simple for me to understand

This is the only one and the correct one. If you look close it is a 3 wire connection.Black/white, Yello/white and red/green.

alternator is marked batt.-- sta

where do 3 reg wires go.

Yes that also haow the diag reads. If you wire it like the diagram, it will charge .

yellow/white on the on the A terminal, white/black is stator (S) and light green/red is ignition (I)
