Where in a 2002 Explorer XLT, 4.0, is the valve to add freon, aprox where do you locate it on the engine

Freon is added via the Low Side Service port. The refill can will only fit on the Low Side, as it is the smaller of the 2 ports. Locate the A/C compressor (see image) and follow the A/C line to the Right on the compressor up and back until you come to the Low Side Service Port.
