2001 ford windstar: van..15 miles..it wont start, fuel pump

Resolved Question:

2001 ford windstar XL, i can drive the van for about 15 miles stop shut of engine about 1 to 2 mim try to start it wont start, fuel pump not working , leve set about 20 min and it will start

At this point when the vehicle is not starting you need to verify there is power and ground at the fuel pump connector located on the frame rail next to the fuel tank while cranking the engine. The pink and black wire should have battery voltage while cranking the engine. The black wire should have chassis ground. It sounds like the fuel pump is failing.
