I am working on a 2004 Ford Explorer,Changed spark plugs,plug wires,and oil and filter.Now it has a little wrench showing,and says its in engine safe mode.it also will not throttle up.How do I get it out of this engine safe mode?

Ok try unhooking the positive battery cable for about 10 minutes, this should clear the code and allow you to have your throttle back. If it dosnt , then you will need to have the system scanned and the codes and or codes retrieved.

I allready unhooked the battery That did nothing.I run my OBSII tester all that it does is blink 8888!

The you are going to need to get yu hands on another scanner that can read the actual codes, there is no 8888 codes.
