2002 Ford Explorer - I have a knocking noise around the front drivers tire. Most evident when slowing down. No vibration on the tire or brakes.

I ended up taking my explorer to a ford dealership this morning. The parking brake cable had come unplugged and was hitting the tire. The cable was worn and needed to be replaced.
