2008 ford escape 2wd, 3.0l....code p2195...O2 sensor stuck lean, bank 1, sensor 1. Where is this located & what's the easiest way to get to it? Please include diagram. Thanks

  • With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. graphic
  • Remove the 7 bolts (5 shown) and the LH splash shield.
  • Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) electrical connector. graphic
  • If necessary, lubricate the sensor threads with penetrating and lock lubricant to assist in removal. Using the oxygen sensor socket, remove the HO2S.

So it's the sensor closest to the manifold on the driver's side?

Correct. Not that bad of a job at all. I would highly recommend you go to a parts store and rent/buy the O2 Sensor Socket- it makes this job so much more easy.
