How do I remove the rear brake drums on 2000 Ford Ranger Pickup...2x4?
To remove the rear drums you just need to remove the wheel and slide off the drum.If the drum will not pull off lightly tap the drum with a hammer to see if it will slide off.If it still will not come off than you will need to access the adjuster which you will need to remove the rubber plug from the backing plate and stick a screwdriver in the slot to release the lock tab and than use another screwdriver to loosen the adjuster.
