Ford f150: no start no fuel pressure replaced fuel pump..ground

Resolved Question:

04 ford f150 no start no fuel pressure replaced fuel pump still the same i have power to fuel pump but i do not have ground at the fuel pump need help ?

i'm pretty sure it's considerd new body style but it may not be

The ground should be the black/yellow wire it runs from the pump to the frame rail.If the ground is not good just jump your black/yellow to ground and the pump should run.

done that and pump will run but runs constant it this right?

That means the pump is good.Sounds like you have a computer issue.You may need to either replace or reprogram the PCM.

if the truck runs when i ground the pump will it still need a pcm or reprogrammed?

If you ground the wire and the fuel pump comes on and off with the key cycle than I would just repair the ground wire and make sure the fuel pressure is correct by driving.

Should be drivers side inside frame rail right behind axle
